Welcome to the add of our R26 megane, cut the long story short we bought this very well spec’d megane r26 last month, after pulling it out of the unit, moving it back in we noticed a slight knocking sound , after garage inspection it was confirmed it was the bottom end , just out of the blue like that but s**t happens

The car is now having a fully forged engine which will
Hopefully be completed by the end of january, hoping the car will be ready to go by the end of feb for keeps safe,

Engine will consist of,

Freshly rebuilt R26/225 engine .
Rebored and honed block 2024cc
Block decked
Wossner oversize forged pistons
Wossner Forged H-Beam rods with ARP2000 bolts
Rings end gapped
Pistons / rods fully balanced to with 0.05g
Crank polished
New competition 'king' race bearings
New main bearings
New thrust washer
New oil pump
New cam / front and rear crank seals.
New Head bolts
New Head gasket
R26 head ported
Head skimmed on fine feed for best cylinder seal
Valves lapped in
New Stem seals.
Turbo exhaust manifold ported around turbo entry to reduce lag and improve top end.
New timing belt kit and water pump
Engine chemically cleaned in hot parts washer
New cam / front and rear crank seals.
Block and head & manifold repainted

Engine will be good for 500bhp plus
